[Archived] Songs are going to Osu!lazer instead of Osu!

Problem details:So, i recently tried Lazer again and now when i switch back to normal osu and try downloading songs it opens them up in lazer


How do i change it back to normal osu as the primary game
osu! version: Stable 20240425.2 (latest)

  1. Right click the map file (.osz)
  2. select "open with..."
  3. enable the "always use this app to open .osz files"
  4. then choose the "choose another app" option
  5. now just search the path where you installed stable, and select the osu!.exe from there as the default for the maps to open.
Edit: The same can be done with .osk (skin) files too.
