How do I fix my disastrously bad aim

I've been having a lot of fun trying to stream at faster and faster speeds, and I'm at a point where I also want to improve on other skills. However, I think I improved too much on streaming, neglecting my aim.

Now I miss-aim both ways on small and large jumps, FCs are getting harder due to that miss-aiming, I hit the edges of stacks which notelocks me, and I'm even having trouble with streams due to my mouse not following them correctly.

Is this something that can be fixed by just playing more aim-focused maps or is there something wrong with how I play overall? (or maybe it isn't even that bad??)

I play on osu!(lazer) if that has anything to do with it. (probably doesn't)

try longer maps, smaller cs if you want to practice/get more consistent aim

bigger area, lower dpi is free precision/consistency as long as your playstyle is comfy with it (start moving arm a bit more)

Yes, you need to play more aim maps, just make sure they’re not too hard and you improve your scores on them rather than only going for sightreads. I think around 7-25 misses initially or around +1 star from your comfort zone is ok, the main thing is that it's something hard for you but you can still imagine the possibility of FCing. There probably isn’t anything wrong with how you play fundamentally (actually maybe there is, having a 25pp play be your lowest whilst your top it 120 is crazy - follow the advice below first), but if you think you’re just reacting instead of reading then you can work on holding high accuracy FCs on easier maps to build that general consistency/reading before pushing your mechanics again.

Hey! I took a glance at your profile and you have top scores that range from 25 - 120. This indicates that you don’t have a well-established comfort zone (a * rating that you can confidently fc most maps in 2-3 tries), have a specialized skill set (one-trick) or both.

I think playing where you think you can comfortably fc in 2-3 tries and working backwards is the best place to start. So if you think you can fc 4.5* and you end up retrying more than 3 times, reel it back to 4.3*. Keep repeating this cycle until you reach a star rating where you can fc multiple maps consistently.

Finding your “floor” is a very important step when you are trying to improve at any skill. If you only try to push your skill cap without understanding where you are inconsistent, those gaps in your play style will become more and more obvious as you keep climbing.

Hope this helped, best of luck.

Just play more jumps. Really not much to say.

Try playing with your DPI/sensitivity.

I found it easier to hit cross screen jumps with a lower dpi

After playing more aim-heavy maps, I realized that my aim isn't really that bad, I'm just mega-mindblocked

just play more aim maps like only aim maps now I couldn’t burst / stream 200+ so I just only maps that would benefit me the only way to fix bad aim is to play aim there is no secret trick

The more aim maps you play, the better your aim will become, even though the progress can be slow at first. It's this slow progress that frustrates most players who want to become better at the game, but remember:
patience is the key to success.
