What day for weekly maintenance?

Due to the ever-increasing size of the community, the need for regular database maintenance and backups is becoming more and more of a priority. I would like to schedule around 2 hours of maintenance every week on a set day.

So, which day shall it be? Also any time suggestions will be appreciated. I don't mind as long as its not in my sleeping hours (GMT+8 0200-0800)

I'd recommend doing it during the weekday sometime. On the weekend it's possible maintenance will affect everyone, while during the weekdays at least a sizeable portion of the community will be preoccupied with school/work etc.

Speaking of database maintenance, did something happen to the database? In the beatmap listing, I'm getting the same top 50 scores no matter what (ranked) song/difficulty I'm looking at.

That's the idea :P. The scoring system will be down for the period, or any part thereof.

Maintenance Period is best on Monday at around 2-4am (GMT+8) would be great!

Good luck with that one Shinn. Sure, Peppy's great, but I'm just not confident with his sleep-maintenance skills. I'm still pushing for Tuesday night though! Means I can watch Terminator or play badminton without missing out on much Osu! stuff.

3:30am is a standard coding night for me anyway..

How about AFTER you got home? like 7-9PM (Australia Time)
I've noticed that only a few people play/chat at those times.
Don't know which day though.
