In theory, my play with 1 miss would have one less combo than my one with no misses, because i missed at the end. But somehow, the play with 1 miss actually has more combo than the one that i didnt miss any? And it cant be that i'm counting wrong, osu says that i didnt miss any. Might sound stupid at first, but please look at the diffrence

This one is from my recent play, focus on the score, (if you want to see, it's at scores/2662813399 )
First, it looks fine.
Accuracy: 90.33%
Max combo: 591
300: 327
100: 49
50: 5
Misses: 0

I noticed something was up when i remembered my previous play, which is at scores/2662797316
Accuracy: 92.34%
Max combo: 593
300: 339
100: 36
50: 5
Misses: 1

Plus, all of the top 50 plays are at 598 combo, which is weird because i'm apparently missing a few beats.

Apologies if it's a super boomer problem that as a newbie i dont understand, but please clear this up for me either way 😅

please use the gameplay & rankings forum for this, not mapping discussion.

but to answer ur question, misses aren't the only thing that make u lose combo.
if u don't hit a slider at all, it counts as a miss as u would expect.
if u hit at least one slider tick OR the slider head, but u don't hit all of them, it will not count as a miss, but it will break ur combo. this is called a slider break.
additionally, dropping the slider end will make u lose the 1 combo u would get for hitting it, but it won't break ur combo.
