Hello, Returning the favor from the m4m
[General]
You don't have colors ;_; It's kind of bland looking at the default ones. Try some Pink.. or Pie, or Party colors
Tags:
Remove: friendship is magic as it is in the source
Maybe add: Pie for the character's name in the show (you already have Pinkie in the title)
Timing: You do not need any of those Red Timing points. All you need is the one at the start. Add some green if you need to start/end kiai.
[Easy]
I'll come back to this one another day once you feel you've fixed it up, as we've spoken in-game. Just give me a shout. For now. have a hitsound mod.
Your normal has a higher SV than this. I would suggest using less distance spacing, and a higher SV so the sliders move a bit faster and the notes are a bit closer. Try 1.6 to 1.8
Consider the whistle suggestion places I suggested in Normal for this diff.
[Insane]
Again, you can call me back for Normal later on if you want.
Good luck

- 00:17:289 (1) - I would highly recommend (to add a bit of variety) to delete this slider, and place a 1/1 slider at 00:17:773 - | This gives more loves to the vocals and as I said, gives more variety to the map.
- 00:21:160 (1) - Finishing a measure, and then having the reverse start on the new set of vocals is well. Could be played better. Try just a circle
- 00:23:095 (3) - Remove this Green timing point. Easy diffs should only stick to one Slider Velocity. Just press f6, find the green dot with this timing, and remove it.
- 00:40:514 (1,2,3) - Try a Circle -> Slider -> Slider pattern here. Sliders starting on clap notes are a bit awkward to play, and this also lets you start measures properly. Example: http://puu.sh/86DjS.jpg | (the 4 is where (1) originally was)
- 00:59:869 (4,1,2,3) - How about some symmetry for (1,2,3)? Copy the (3) and paste it to where (1) is (horizontal flip), and adjust the (2) | Example: http://puu.sh/86Dys.jpg | You'll have to adjust the (4) afterwards to keep distance snap between them. You can use this: http://puu.sh/86DCa.jpg to help keep your snapping even. 1.00 is what you want to aim for, but within .03 of it is fine.
- 01:08:095 (4) - Move this a bit lower and maybe try to blanket it around the tail end of the (2)? | Also note that the blanket between (2,3) is a bit off as well as shown in this example: http://puu.sh/86DHs.jpg
- 01:23:094 (2,3,4) - As I mentioned at 00:40:514 - This would feel much much better as a Circle -> Slider -> Slider pattern. Landing on those downbeats and vocal cue's is pretty important in a song like this.
- 01:28:417 (4,1) - Copy the (4), and paste it to where the (1) is. Rotate it 180° (Control+> twice) | Try stacking the tail end on where the earlier (3) was. To do this, Control+G the new (1), without distance snap, stack it on the (3), and then control+g again and it should look something like this | http://puu.sh/86DUE.jpg | You'll have to adjust the next few notes if you do this.
- 01:36:159 (1) - Soft? | Click the spinner, and change the Sampleset to soft: http://puu.sh/86E1S.jpg
I'll come back to this one another day once you feel you've fixed it up, as we've spoken in-game. Just give me a shout. For now. have a hitsound mod.
- 00:10:031 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - How about some whistles? Try adding some to the Head of (1) | Head of (3) | (4) and (6) | You can repeat this for awhile. If you feel like you're using too many claps. Try removing them from (3) and (6)
- 00:18:741 (4) - Clap on Tail instead of head.
- 00:23:579 (4) - Try a clap here.
- 00:46:804 (4) - Feels a bit bland without a clap from how you set up 00:44:869 (2,3) -
- 00:51:643 (4) - ^ same as above. maybe you remove the clap at 00:52:127 (5) - if you do this
- 00:59:385 (4,5) - ^
- 01:01:078 (1) - clap on tail?
- 01:03:256 (5) - Try clap on head instead of tail.
- 01:07:127 (4) - same, clap.
- 01:36:159 (1) - swap this to soft. See Easy for more info.
Your normal has a higher SV than this. I would suggest using less distance spacing, and a higher SV so the sliders move a bit faster and the notes are a bit closer. Try 1.6 to 1.8
Consider the whistle suggestion places I suggested in Normal for this diff.
- 00:12:450 (2) - Two ideas: either stack the (2) under the previous (1) or try this pattern: http://puu.sh/86Ggs.jpg
- 00:18:257 (3) - even though this is already kind of exaggerated. Try to balance the gap between the previous and next notes. Consider something like x128 y240 | Also before that. I suggest making (3) a copy of (2) and rotated 180° (Control+> twice) | If you do this. then try x144 y232 | http://puu.sh/86Gs0.jpg
- 00:22:128 (3) - Again, try making these symmetrical by copy pasting and rotating 180° | This one was pretty close to being perfect though
- 00:22:612 (1,2) - You get the idea. I won't post about these anymore. I'm sure you can fix the rest yourself just fine
- 00:39:062 (1) - Cool slider that matches the video XD
- 00:44:627 - I'm surprised you mapped all of the lead-in vocals except this point. Any reason why you don't have something here?
- 00:55:514 (5) - clap! Sorry. I feel like these spots in the song and all similar ones have a clap to emphasize the vocals as it really fits!
- 01:23:578 (1,2) - same suggestion as the beginning. stack or change the pattern. All in all, I guess you'd just copy/paste after doing the start, so I'll skip this section.
- 01:36:401 (1) - soft
[Insane]
- 00:11:966 (5) - how about moving this to x384 y24
- 00:13:418 (9) - if you wanted to, you could also stack this under the (8) or the (5) for more variety. Anti-jumps would work well on this diff if they aren't overused.
- 00:19:466 (5,6,7) - I'll be blunt. I don't think even for an insane the spacing on these notes would be accepted. It's honestly better to make 1/4 notes within the proper distance spacing. Remember that you're mapping a 124bpm song, not a 248. People should be alternating, not single tapping these.
- 00:22:612 (4) - NC this Slider velocity change. This is very very important.
- 00:39:062 (15) - http://puu.sh/86Hh0.jpg | Code is below: To find what you need to replace: Type in this | http://puu.sh/86HjX.png | The timing of it is at 39062 | Replace the whole line with this code | Move it around after to fit wherever. But I highly recommend you don't change the shape as it's perfectly symmetrical right now.
160,224,39062,2,0,B|232:208|320:128|312:80|256:64|200:80|192:128|280:208|352:224,1,400,0|4,0:0|0:0,0:0:0:0:
- 00:40:756 (1,2,3) - same thing as 19 seconds. Keep these triplets in distance snap range. | I guess this can apply to the rest of them as well.
- 01:06:401 (7,9,3) - Stack these on the same spot?
- Another thing I noticed is that your symmetry.. in lots of spots aren't perfectly symmetrical | You can tell by using Control+H and Control+J to see where they should go on the other side of the map. | Random example: 01:31:562 (8,10) - Try Control+H on the (8) and you'll notice they won't be stacked. Since you have (9) almost symmetrical to the center. It would make sense (Move (9) to x256 to be dead center.. It's currently 257)
Again, you can call me back for Normal later on if you want.
Good luck
