Introduction

  1. This edition of the YutangCup is sponsored by tom8129 with a contribution of 250USD and an additional 250USD from the organizer! The total prize pool is 500USD (equivalent to 3500RMB at a 7 exchange rate)! The champion team may also receive a mysterious gift^_^
  2. Please note, the YutangCup is a multiplayer Suiji Cup! This edition of the YutangCup is open to all Asian players for registration.
  3. The team composition is 2 t1, 2 t2, 2 t3, 2 t4. A total of 16 teams, if the number of registrations exceeds 140, all members will need to participate in the Qualifier, and if it is less, it will be truncated to 128 according to rank. If registrations are over 256 players, we open 32 teams for all :).
  4. The map pool for the ACC of this YutangCup uses the v2 scoring method, and HD mod is allowed, but ACC is still the victory condition.
  5. The YutangCup is a 4v4 competition without rank registration restrictions, using the V1 scoring||acc scoring method (with an ACC map pool). Over the years, registered players have included, but are not limited to, the main players of OWC China Team, OCLB, and OCLC. If you like to challenge strong opponents and surpass yourself, then the YutangCup is your best choice. Since S5, the YutangCup has become the highest difficulty event in China. The difficulty gradient of this edition ranges from 6 stars in RO16 to 7.5 stars in the final. Due to the special scoring method, you only need to defeat your opponent in the corresponding position, so there is no need to worry about being a burden. The scoring method of this edition remains the same as in previous editions.
  6. The YutangCup supports individual registration and also supports team registration for two people. After registration, the organizer will rank the players based on the calculated pp and pp+ costs, and divide them into four tiers: A, B, C, and D with 2 players each. The organizer will randomly select two players from each tier to form a team of six. The calculation method for individual rank is Rank with BWS. Rules for binding registration:
    1. a) Players need to form a group of 2 people and fill in the corresponding form when registering. We will first randomly assign the 2-person group to a team with available positions in the order of the form. If such a team does not exist, we will reject the request to assign the 2 people to the same team. After all 2-person groups are assigned, the remaining ungrouped players will be randomly assigned.
    2. b) There are restrictions on 2-person groups in this edition, only allowing binding between the same tier, and only allowing the first half and second half players of the same tier to bind. If this condition is not met after the end of registration, one chance will be given to re-select the binding target. If more than half of the players are bound, the remaining players are not allowed to bind, in order to ensure a certain randomness while providing playability and fairness.
  7. The team with the higher roll will pick first, and each team will privately chat with the referee to ban a map before picking. The final ban map for this match is the union of the ban maps of the two teams.
    1. For example: Team A bans NM1 HD1, Team B bans HD1 DT3, the final result is banning NM1 HD1 DT3.
  8. Since the team consists of 8 players and it is a 4v4 match, each team must ensure that one player from each tier must play when they are on the field.
  1. Special Rule
  2. The individual score of each game depends on the ranking of the player and the four players on the opposing team, with rankings 1-5 scoring 10, 7, 5, 3, 1 respectively. Each tier has a set threshold (A 10, B 7, C 5, D 3), and the score above the threshold is halved
    1. a) For example: Team Blue's A-D scores are 100, 50, 30, 10, and Team Red's scores are 70, 60, 20, 40. At this time, Team Blue's A player scores 10 (ranked 1st in Team Red), B player scores 5, C player scores 3, D player scores 1, and Team Blue's total score is 19; Team Red's A player scores 7, B player scores 7, C player scores 3, D player scores 4 (40 points ranked 3rd in Team Blue, 5 points exceed the threshold 3, the final score is 3+(5-3)*0.5=4), Team Red's total score is 21, so Team Red wins this map.
    2. b) If there are the same rankings (i.e., two players have the same score), the player with the higher ranking is calculated.
    3. c) The score is still calculated based on the fail status at the end, that is, based on the ranking of mplink.
    4. d) If one team sweeps the top 3 in a map, the other team's map selection will be automatically skipped once. (i.e., rbrbrb-> rrbrb, if Team Red sweeps the top three in the first map)
    5. e) If there is a tie in a map, the score is distributed evenly among the players.
    6. f) If the basic score and bonus score are the same, compare the total score/average acc (based on mod), the higher one wins the map, otherwise the map is void.
    7. g) If your score is higher than (2*st) where st means the score of the opponent's player who ranks after you, you will get 0.5 point as bonus.

    • For detailed scoring methods, please join the group and view them in the rules description in the group file
    1. The Grand Final does not have a bracket reset, but the winner of the Winner's Bracket has a 1-point advantage.
    2. Since it is a competition without rank restrictions, in order to have a good competition experience, please go through the map pool of the previous edition to ensure that you will not be too closed during the entire competition process.
