[resolved] osu! downloaded beatmaps turn to osu! lazer beatmaps

Problem details:
I try downloading maps on the osu! website but all the files automatically convert to osu! lazer beatmaps. I tried deleting my osu! lazer software but the problem still continues.

Converts?

Can you provide a screenshot of the file?
When does the conversion happen? What do you do to import the file into the game?

Edit: I see what you mean now. I just updated my client to test this. The files will automatically import to lazer, however you can still import to stable as well.
So far, I only dragged the file into the stable client and that worked just fine. I will see if there is any other way.

What OS are you using? There should be a setting somewhere to use a different program to open the .osz file.

For example on Windows 10 there's community/forums/posts/6298862

Ok. Thank you for the help. I dragged the file into the stable client and it worked.
