- Nebula Nexus Cup is an international tournament with a maximum team size of 4, however the tournament will follow a crew battle format. This means that througout each match, a mix of 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 will be played. Please refer to the format explanation below for a better explanation, or ask us in discord!
- You are required to be in the discord to participate.
- This is a double elimination tournament, meaning that if you lose, you have a second chance in the loser's bracket!
- You must remain in the rank range (no rank buffer) until registration ends, or you will be unable to play.
- The only staff members that are allowed to participate in the tournament are: streamers, referees and commentators.
- This tournament will not be badged.
- There will be screening. This means that, should we find your profile suspicious, we reserve the right to reject your ability to play. Examples of suspicious behaviour include, but are not limited to:
- Excessive PP spread (250+)
- Low playtime/playcount (below 7 days, or below 7k playcount)
- Recent unbans (up to 6 months)
- Excessive deranking (e.g. performances in tournament that are clearly above the skill level of 75k+)
Format explanation
- The team to pick first will pick the first map, and will also get a choice between playing it as a 1v1, 2v2 or a 3v3.
- The team picking second will then be able to pick between the two remaining formats, for example if 1v1 is picked, team 2 will be able to pick either a 2v2 or a 3v3.
- To ensure that formats are balanced, the third map will always be the remaining format. If for example 1v1 and 2v2 have been played already, then the third map will be a 3v3 by default.
- Tiebreakers will always be played as a 3v3.
