the best thing would be to fix your chokes since a lot of them are worth between 250 and 350pp if FC, but don't hesitate to play new maps where you're sure to win peformance points because you'll feel comfortable on them.
it's fine because you can also lower your star rating and FC maps that worth at least 200pp if you want. you have every opportunity to move up in the rankings so don't worry about not being able to fix your chokes.
