Problem details: Game feels choppyish

osu! version: Cutting Edge 20240121

Got this new gaming laptop HP Omen 16 Nvidia Geforce 4080 240hz monitor

but the game just feels choppyish and doesnt run smoothly like it would on my REALLY old PC or even my previous gaming laptop which was MSI..

I dunno is their some settings I need to do through Nvidia Geforce Expierence? or anyone else got this same issue by specs alone this laptop should run this game with literally 0 issues it just feels janky I cant explain it even though my ms is like 0.40-60 most of the time

Oh ive also got Nvidia Optimus but I prefer to use the GFX Card over the Integrated always

any help or suggestions with people who have the same or had the same issues.

Optimus tends to do some weird stuff with osu!, if you havent, make sure to run osu! with the power cord connected and on best power (not efficiency mode).

You might also want to see if you can disable optimus entirely through the nvidia control panel.

Then if all else fails, if you have a separate monitor (external one) you can try plugging your laptop into it and see if that helps the issue.

You can also look through the performance troubleshooting wiki to see if it helps at all.

Make sure that you have nothing but osu! open and running.

Yeah its always plugged in and ive disabled optimus through nvidia idk anymore

I dont use an external monitor so :( noooo
