Osu! taiko - alternating practice mod

I would like to propose creating an alternating practice mod in the taiko mode.
Currently, many taiko players are struggling to learn alternating for various reasons.

I think implementing a mechanism where consecutive hits on the same side with Don and Kat result in a failure could greatly enhance many people's skills, and it would be also helpful to implement a method of resetting consecutive counts when hitting big Don and big Kat.

osu! Stable is currently feature locked

It would probably be better to suggest this on the osu! lazer github. Theres already a mod in lazer that has a similar feature so it would make sense to add it to taiko as well.

I think I saw someone else request the same thing here a few weeks ago, "No double-press" mod for taiko? by needz. Regarding Github, I wonder how much attention they put to this forum section compared to that. Is it irrelevant? But I wouldn't mind a force fullalt mod, could be pretty tricky like I said in that thread.
