[Archived] black screen after attempting to edit a map

Problem details:
After clicking "Edit" in the main menu or left-clicking a map then "Edit" i am getting a black screen but the game still recognizes inputs, the only way to get rid of the black screen is to restart the game

Are you using compatibility mode?

This is usually triggered because the editor forces fullscreen borderless so it tends to be because of some weird graphics issue. Have you tried updating your graphics driver or rolled them back to a time that you weren't experiencing this issue?

There was some talk that doing ctrl+alt+delete may temporarily fix the issue.

I tried using compatibility mode and it solved my issue
I`ll just leave it on I guess and for my graphics driver I was deleting them and making a clean install (before I came back) so it might be the thing that caused this issue
