Welcome in sixth edition of Demo's Monthly Bangers
Demo's Monthly Bangers is 1 weekend osu! Standard tournament played on score V2.
This is international tournament without any rank restrictions.
Tournament is played on mappool made from maps ranked in January 2024 using polish timezone (UTC+1).
Maps choice is only based on my subjective song preference.
Mappool consists of 10 maps in basic pool and at least 1 TB, depends on how many long songs I like from previous month in ranked section.
All maps are played on Free Mod which leads to only those possible combinations: NM, HD, HR, HDHR; and for DT maps: DT, HDDT, DTHR, HDDTHR.
DMB is played in single elimination bracket starting from Ro16.
Ro16, Quarterfinals are played in BO7, while Semifinals and Finals are played in BO9. All matches consists of 1 ban per player.
Every player should join DISCORD, to be eligible to participate in the tournament.
Seeding is based on maps hunting system.
There are no qualifier lobbies for this tournament.
You need to submit scores on the 10 maps in basic pool until February 22nd 23 UTC.
Scores done before mappool announcement also counts.
Points are given according to your placement on the map leaderboard. For example if you are 25th on map, you gain 25 points. This works for scores that are visible in top50. If your score is outside of top50 you gain 75 points from the map by default. Only scores with NM, HD, HR and HDHR counts. Same on DT maps, only DT, HDDT, DTHR and HDDTHR counts. For DT maps scores without DT do not count for top50 used for point distribution.
Top 16 players with least points gained are qualified for the bracket stage.
Matches are going to be self reffed.
One of the players in the match should make lobby named: "DMB: (Player1) vs (Player2)"
When both players are in lobby, one of them should send me (_demo) mp link immediately to avoid situations where mp link is lost. It should be done in tournament discord chat by pinging me and sending mp link or just sending me mp link in discord dm's.
When both players are ready they use !roll command. Highest roll is banning 2nd and picking 1st. Lowest roll is banning 1st and picking 2nd.
All maps are played on score V2 and on Free Mod enabled. You can only pick HD, HR or HDHR.
There is one gimmick - every player have an option to Force Mod one of their pick during a match. It means for example: Player1 picks FM3 but says on chat that they force NM, HD, HR or HDHR on the map. Both players proceed to play a map on HD and Force Mod of Player1 is used. You don't need to use force mod during a match.
If score is tied to 3:3 in BO7 or to 4:4 in BO9 players gonna play TB map. If mappool has 3 TB's players proceeds to use !roll command once again. Lowest roll is banning one of the TB's. Highest roll picks a TB map from 2 maps that are left unbanned.
If players fail to send me (_demo) mp link from their match I count it as FF from both sides.
If one of the players fail to join lobby in 10 minutes from match scheduled start, they are considered to FF the match. In this case player who showed up still should send me mp link to prove that lobby was up for 10 minutes. This procedure is not needed if no showing player will contact their opponent and host about the FF beforehand on the tournament discord.
Matches might be streamed but it depends on hosts availability.

Schedules can slightly change if all players in bracket agrees, but all matches need to be played at 24.02 - 25.02.
