[resolved] Unable to update osu! map which was exported from Lazer editor

I am attempting to update my map but it says "Upload NEW map" instead of update or something. I have only mapped more of the song. I haven't changed any metadata. I mapped on Lazer cuz stable sux and Lazer gud. I exported the Lazer map in osz format and when I try to update the map on the website by uploading this local map, it doesn't say update, it says "Upload NEW map" instead. Am I cooked? Is Lazer cooked? Will my beatmap be cooked? When will we finally be able to upload maps through Lazer?



osu! version: Lazer 2024.131.0

Solution: Edit the .osu and change the BeatmapID/BeatmapSetID.

Edit the .osu and change the BeatmapID/BeatmapSetID.

Note: The lazer editor has many features missing from stable. The longer you use it the more you'll realize why mapping on lazer won't become a thing anytime soon.

Thanks a lot, that worked. Really hope they're working on Lazer mapping.
