I like novels. Especially Sci-Fi/Fantasy ones with sex scenes randomly inserted. So...
"A Fate Worse Than Dragons" is a nice little comedy by John Moore IIRC. It's hilarious. Don't let your 5 year old nephew read it, though. Some parts are... inappropriate, basically.
I read just about anything from Anne McCaffrey, and the couple books in the Pern series by her son Todd were good, too.
I've been into McLackey lately, she's good I think.
Then sometimes I lighten up and read books like the Erec Rex series, which is just fun (though IMO, not as good as McCaffrey books. Oh well). Chris D'Lacey's Dragon series is also a good read. Keep in mind that those aren't exactly adult, but they aren't kiddy, either.
Then there's this one other series I like, but I forgot the name entirely. It's about a guy and dimensions and crap.
Oh, and there's Bones. Who needs manga when you have Bones?
Plus a bunch of other books. I'm thinking of reading some mysteries and seeing how that goes. I'll probably like them, though.
Now you all know how nerdy I am; I actually read. And all my books are from the library or at a book store (why are books so expensive?). Yes, I actually fork out the cash if I have to instead of reading them on the internet. Wouldn't feel right anyways.
As far as online articles go? I recommend that one about that guy telling you why you shouldn't take Japanese. Haha. Anyone have that link?
