daniel's quick duels is an unbadged 1v1 double elimination tournament.
Hence the name, this tournament will feature small pools and short matches.
You must join the Discord to participate.

The rank range is 500-100k.
BWS will not be used.
All times for matches and qualifiers are in UTC.
There will be a qualifier, and the top 32 players will advance.
The matches will be played with NF, and SV2.

Forcemod Rules

You are required to take a mod on the forcemod pool.
HD is allowed as a preference mod outside of the forcemod pool, although your score will be divided by 1.06.
There will be no EZ multiplier.

Qualifiers

The referee will send out invites 10 minutes before the lobby starts, and ping the players participating in it.
You have 5 minutes to join the lobby, and if you are unable to make it in that time you are free to reschedule to a later date.
Each player will get one playthrough of the pool.
If a player disconnects or has a technical issue forcing them to leave, they may play the map they missed at the end of the lobby.
If you cannot make it to any of the predetermined qualifier times, you can schedule a custom lobby.
If you schedule a custom lobby less than 24 hours in advance, you will likely be denied.

Bracket Stage

The match schedule in the sheet is not set in stone, and if you can't make the default time it is your responsibility to work with your opponent to schedule a new time.
If you are having issues reaching out to your opponent or agreeing on a time, please DM the host as soon as possible so that an agreement can be reached.
If you cannot schedule a time with your opponent that falls inside of the weekend, you are allowed to schedule a match outside of the weekend, until the following Wednesday at 23:59UTC.
The referee will send out invites 10 minutes before the match starts, and ping the players participating in it.
If you cannot make it to the match 10 minutes after it was scheduled to start, you will forfeit.
Warmups will be allowed if both players agree, but the maps cannot be longer than 3 minutes each.
There will be one ban for each player.
Each player will !roll, and the winner will choose first pick and second ban, or second pick and first ban.
Double picking (picking the same modpool twice in a row) is allowed.
Players will have 60 seconds to pick a map, and 30 seconds to ready up.
Each player is allowed one three-minute timeout that they can use at any time in between maps.
If a player disconnects or has a technical issue during the first 30 seconds of the map, the map will be aborted and replayed.
If a player disconnects and finishes out the map, proof of their score must be sent to the ref to determine the winner, otherwise, they forfeit the point.
Tiebreakers will be played with freemod, but you're allowed to play nomod without any score penalty.

If there are not enough registrations for a RO32, the tournament will start at RO16 and the schedule will be pushed forward by 1 week.
