I play osu! ever single day. yet, i improve so slow. no matter how much i would play and practice a beatmap, i still fail to get a full combo on it. i was still dedicated to fc the beatmap (Our Story), but its been a month since i've been trying to fc it. yet im still here, failing at the same damn spot everytime, hence, i slowly lose my motivation to fc it.

am I really just that bad? or is there something im missing. i need help on how to get better in this game. it just feels embarrassing to play and practice a beatmap everyday, yet, still perform horribly.

Hi, my first suggestion is try not to play too much of the same map (retry spam) especially if you're starting to get frustrated playing it.

Second, even if you've said that you played everyday, it's still not enough plays to "improve". Improving is not something you feel instantly. Keep playing consistently.

Third and the most important of all, enjoy the game. Play songs you like. Don't feel "embarrassed" of practising.

only time will tell

you have 20h of play time so don't expect yourself to improve faster than anyone

just enjoy game and you will be fine!

Something is probably missing. you have little playtime, so your playstyle/technique is probably not optimal. I once had breakthroughs at your level. each time, i changed something fundamental. at first it was the discovery i could tap with the keyboard. This helps stabilize my aim. next, it was turning on raw input. Further stablizing my aim. And obviously changing the default skin. Instant improvement. point is,when youre that unskilled at the game, finding a style that fits you is most important. Once you get that pop off, make the most out of it.

Then don't try to FC. Try for better acc

If you're ended up feeling anxious around your playing only revolving around FC, then better don't and instead play for either:

• Something you can perfect it (improve acc to your desired goals 96, 97, 98, 99% etc)
• Something you can improve it (higher star range than leaves you challegend but you can pass with effort)

You will progress gradually as your mind learns to cordinate between understanding patterns for tapping and aiming, and your physical abilities to tap faster, being more precise, aim faster and also being more precise. You are yet still to be six digits.

Slow improvement is still improvement.

Focus less on the fact it feels slow and more on how you're getting better. Or in regards to where you feel worse, what might be the problem. Comparing your improvement to anyone else will get you nowhere.

This game takes ages to get comfy with, expect feeling like that for the next 2-3 months at least.

Sorry but you have 20 hours in the game. Even if you play every day you haven't done so for long. Just keep at it lol.
