Problem details:

I need to remove the weird anime girl thats on taiko. How do i get rid off it? i searched and found an old post talking about replacing some png with blank ones, but where even are the base pngs so i can delete them?

The files you are looking for are the pippidon files. Though, if they are not in the skin file to begin with then it will revert to the default skin files. Youll need to make these files if they dont exist and have them be the 1x1 invis pixel.

You can check your custom skin folder and find if there's a 1x1 pixel image (that looks like a tiny dot) - like Blushing stated.
And with that, you can now copy and use that base blank image to overwrite:

pippidonclear
pippidonkiai
pippidonidle
pippidonfail

You don't need to add numbers behind those names. These four names I listed above is already enough.
