Captain's description (by Aistre):
You embrace the golden rays of summer heat, amidst the rhythmic symphony of rolling waves. You smell the nostalgic breeze of the wind gently touch your skin, like a fleeting lover. It must be Just a Sunny Day for You.

You may already be familiar with this mapset hosted by Wriothesley, gathering a large number of favourites already in the graveyard section. Sitting at a deceptively low 6.04★, this map features a highly structured and consistent gimmick of parallel sliders and fun kicksliders to create an elegant and reading-heavy experience. Finding it too hard? Then you'll enjoy one of the lower guest difficulties crafted with the same concepts in mind, so there's something that everybody can play!

Gazing upward, the blue sky stretches endlessly. You feel a compulsion to do just one thing: head to the map's thread to cast your vote.

I'm really pretty emotional to see my first attempt at a ranked map make loved voting. From the first time I heard the song Just a Sunny Day for You, to the first time a BN said "yes" to me (thank you NeilPerry my eternal GOAT), to the stinging defeat of a pre-qualified veto, to the time I sat at my keyboard, eyes bleary with tears as I tried over and over again to capture how much that song meant to me with words, because I thought if I could just explain a little better the link between my breakup, the song, and the emotions I tried to capture with the map, that somehow something would change, I still never managed to dream that one day, the community would come together to show me that I wasn't alone like this.

I don't even know how to thank you all for this. No matter the outcome of the vote, I want to thank everyone who downloaded the map, everyone who left me their comments, everyone who pressed the favorite button, everyone who hyped the map and everyone who supported me these last 6 years. This vote is a testament to the fact that when you create something with passion, people will take the time to appreciate your art.

Sometimes this game is just about hype plays and silly memes; crazy pop-offs and endless drama. But today, there was room for a heartbroken dreamer and his silly idea that osu! maps can be art, too. Thank you.
