How come I still can't full alt?

So I can now start streams, doubles and basically every other pattern with either my middle or index but for some reason when I try to full alt anything that I usually single tap I fingerlock. Any help is appreciated, I think it might be due to the fact I still have to think about which finger I just used since it's not like with streams where you just kinda know when to stop.

Fully alternating (where you have close or even equal number of tap, e.g 500 k1 and 500k2) is rare amongst players. Perhaps it's just the diminishing return is so high when you learning tons of perfecting full alt where you get the same result with just partial alt

People who deliberately do this are as preference choice as it is I personally believe are the matter of comfort or achievement

A more practical approach to alternating is doing it partially. You could do whataver of these:
• Starting burst and stream with your dominant finger while the rest is alternating
• Use alternating for patterns that are just awkward to do with singletapping
• alternating to 'time' your rhythm and tapping for lower tempo you would get 100s over with singletapping

tl;dr; play more, I played full alt for half a year and it worked to a degree

lazer and mcosu have forced full alt mod that will help you control that you're actually doing it
