Information:
- NUOT Draft League is a draft style osu!standard team tournament featuring a 4 week league period and a 4v4 double elimination bracket
- Players will sign up individually and will be drafted into teams after playing a qualifier mappool
- You must register via the NUEL website and join the discord server, the player role will be in #welcome.
- Depending on the number of signups, there will be 8 teams with a team size of between 6 and 8.
- All maps will be played with ScoreV2, TeamVS and the No Fail modification.
- All matches will automatically be scheduled for Friday - Sunday. If you need to reschedule, it is you / your team's responsibility to do so
- Information on mappool/scheduling/match procedures will be on the main sheet
- IMPORTANT: YOU MUST BE IN THE DISCORD WITH THE CORRECT ROLE TO TAKE PART
- Note: When you join the discord please change your nickname to your osu name to make it easier on staff, and remember to react with the role in #welcome
Entry Conditions:
- All participants must either be currently enrolled within a university in the United Kingdom or Ireland, or a recent graduate within the last 3 years
- There are no rank restrictions
Draft:
- Captains will be selected by the host when sign-ups close. Player rank, previous tournament experience and overall knowledge of other players participating will be considered when deciding captains
- If you would like to be considered to captain a team, please fill out this form
- The draft will be held 10th-11th of February, with the exact time to be agreed by captains
- Captains will play a qualifier pool to decide the order they draft teammates. The top qualifying captain will get first pick. Once all captains have drafted one player, the bottom qualifying captain will get first pick for the second round of drafts, and so on.
- All players will play a separate qualifier pool. This will give captains accurate information for drafting and will also decide a player's in-team-seed
- Captains will continue to draft players until all players are in a team. This may result in slightly different team sizes but this is not an issue
League:
- The League is a 4-week period where teams split into smaller teams and play a 3v3, 2v2 or 1v1 match each week in order to gain points for their team
- The team captain will automatically be seeded first within the team, with the rest of the seeding decided by the player qualifier results
- Smaller teams will play opponents on pools relative to the average seed of the players that make up the smaller team (lower seeded players will play on easier pools)
- In the event of 6 players being present per team, they will be split as such: 3 players playing 3v3, 2 players playing 2v2, 1 player playing 1v1
- In the event of 7 players being present per team, they will be split as such: 4 players playing 3v3, 2 players playing 2v2, 1 player playing 1v1
- In the event of 8 players being present per team, they will be split as such: 4 players playing 3v3, 3 players playing 2v2, 1 player playing 1v1
- In cases when smaller teams have a substitute player, after winning a point, the team MUST switch out one player from the lobby
- Over the 4 weeks, all players will have played 2 3v3 matches, at least 1 2v2 match and potentially 1 1v1 match. Playing a 1v1 match will not be guaranteed
- Smaller team compositions will change weekly
- 3 points will be awarded to the winning team of each match
- If the match goes to tie-breaker, the losing team will be awarded 1 point
- 1 bonus point will be awarded to the team that obtains the highest standardised 'team' score on a map per pool each week
Tournament Bracket:
- All teams will be seeded according to points obtained in the League, with the first seed playing the 8th seed in the first round
- The tournament is double elimination
- The tournament bracket will be a 4v4 team format
- After winning a point, the team MUST switch out at least one player from the lobby
How to register:
1) Go to the NUEL Website
2) Login at the top right (Make a new account if necessary)
3) Press your profile at the top-right, click IGNS, and link your osu! Username, also press the Social tab and link your discord name
4) Go to the E-mails section on your profile, add and verify your uni e-mail (if necessary)
5) Go to the official tournament page and sign up here
6) Join The Discord and make sure you get the NUOT Draft League role in the #welcome channel for access to the sheets and necessary channels

Prizes:
- First place: An unconfirmed number of months of supporter + Profile banner
- Second place: A smaller unconfirmed number of months of supporter + Profile banner
- Third place: Profile banner
Match procedure:
- The match lobby will be created by the referee 10-15 minutes before the match is scheduled for, and the players will be invited
- Teams have a strict 15 minute window to be in the match lobby and ready to play the match. If 15 minutes pass and a team does not turn up, the other team will win by default unless both teams agree to reschedule within a timely manner
- Warmups are allowed if both teams agree
- UKCC Roll System
- Each team protects one map before bans (protects only apply to tournament bracket, not league)
- The team that chooses to ban first also protects first
- After each team has protected a map, teams will ban 1 or 2 maps depending on the size of the pool (1-2-2-1 ban order)
- If both teams reach match point, the tiebreaker is played
- Tiebreaker is free-mod but only NF is mandatory
- The EZ mod will have a 1.85x mod multiplier applied in FM and TB picks
- FM maps requires all players to take at least one mod (HD/HR/HDHR/EZ/EZHD). Players can take the same mod combination as their teammates
- If a player disconnects, the referee may abort the map if it is less than 30 seconds in. Otherwise, that team loses the point
- If a player disconnects but finishes the map, they can take a screenshot and send it to the referee
