^this is the eventvwr error im getting..
i hear the beginning of the launch audio, then it crashes, and i only see the osu logo pop up for a few seconds

osu! version: Stable 20240102.2 (latest)

Looks like a graphics issue, try checking if your graphics driver is up to date or is pending an update.

On top of this, if your graphics drivers are up-to-date and are not pending any updates. Make sure you are not using a skin that takes a lot of resources.

There are a couple of ways you can change the skin without needing to open osu!, they include:

1. going into the osu!.<PC_USERNAME>.cfg and finding the line listing Skin = <skin_name> and changing that to Default
2. going into the skin folder and deleting the skin that you last had saved, this causes osu! to choose the default skin when reloading.

If those both don't work you may need to reinstall your graphics drivers, then -

You'll want to use a DDU to uninstall your graphics drivers. After doing such you should probably redownload them from your manufacturer's website.
