How will the ranking system work in lazer?

First of all, sorry if this is the wrong thread, im not really active in the forums and i dont know if this belongs here lol

But i was wondering how ranking is gonna work once PP is enabled in lazer next week? Are the scores we already set in lazer gonna be counted towards the ranking system or only the plays done after its enabled? Any scores and pp we earn in lazer currently is added to the PPnext system, is that gonna be the system thats gonna be used moving forward?

Sorry if this has been asked before, couldnt really find anything related to this, or maybe im just blind

Would be pretty rough if they werent

Thing is i just got my first 400pp play (unfortunately) in lazer so does that get counted towards my actual pp next week or am i unlucky and i have to set the play again?

it will be probably converted and calculated by the standards of the new pp system
the score will stay but it could be nerfed to 390 etc.

if they dont convert the plays i hope they atleast straight up delete the scores instead of them just staying on my profile without giving pp, dont think i would be able to match the 400 pp play any time soon and if i had to beat my old score to get any pp on that map, shits gonna suck

Pretty sure peppy said these current lazer scores will be wiped.

Both in the introduction of the lazer pp test and in this month’s video.

I believe this means you will only keep the local score and it won’t be on your profile.
