  1. Iberian Winter Conquest is a 2v2, open rank, osu!standard tournament for Spanish, Portuguese and Italian players.
  2. Players representing each team require their respective country's flag in their profiles as proof of their nationality. In case of not belonging to one of these countries or you're from another country between those three, and you wish to play for your country, DM one of the hosts on Discord.
  3. Teams are formed according to their residence.
    1. Spanish players will be divided in autonomous communities.
    2. Portuguese players will be divided in regions, using the NUTS II model.
    3. Italian players will be divided in their regions.
A provisional captain will be selected as a representative for each community or region. Said captain will be responsible for informing staff about their team.
    1. If a community or region is unable to form a competent team, it will be merged with a nearby region decided by the hosts.
    2. If a community or region has 10 or more signups your region may form teams A and B.
  4. Players must stay in the discord server with their nickname set to anything recognizable during the duration of the tournament or they may face disqualification.
  5. Staff members are not allowed to play the tournament, with the exception of commentators and streamers.
  6. If you want to make sure you are signed up, the tournament spreadsheet linked above has a registration section you can check.

Qualifiers:
  1. Teams will be able to select a qualifier lobby from those offered by the staff. If needed, an additional lobby can be requested 24 hours or more in advance.
  2. At the time of each lobby, the referee will notify the team captains on discord and will send them an invite to their respective lobby. Afterwards, the captain will invite the rest of their team. Once 10 minutes pass, the lobby will be considered closed.
  3. All maps will be played once in order (11 maps total).
  4. In case of a sudden disconnection, the map may be replayed at the end of the lobby if the ref decides so.
  5. Seeding will be decided by Z-Score.
  6. The 16 highest seeded teams will head directly to a double-elimination knockout phase, and their opponents will be decided in line with their seeding (1vs16, 2vs15... etc.).

Elimination phase:
  1. The referee will create a lobby and invite both team captains. As Bancho sometimes does not process the invites, captains should make sure they received it and ping the ref in case something goes wrong.
  2. Teams have an obligation to be punctual. Therefore, if 10 minutes after the agreed time one of the teams does not show up they will be penalized by not being allowed to ban. Not showing up after 15 minutes counts as forfeiting the match.
  3. If needed, teams will be able to reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. (Reschedules will be looked at on a case-by-case basis so the flexibility of this rule is subject to change.)
  4. Both teams will be able to choose a warm up if they desire so.
  5. After warmups, both captains will roll and the winner will get to decide the order of picks OR bans. The opponent, then, will decide the other.
  6. Each team will have 2 bans in ABBA order. Banned maps cannot be chosen during the match.
  7. After a map has been chosen, players will have 1 minute to get ready. The referee will then start. If the timer ends, the referee will force start after ten seconds.
  8. For the Free Mod picks one player has to use Hard Rock and the other one Hidden or Easy. You may use Hidden with Hard Rock or Easy if you want. All Easy scores will be multiplied by 2,2. Other mods are not allowed
  9. Players are allowed to use mods on the tiebreaker.
  10. If a player disconnects shortly after the map starts, the pick will be aborted. If the disconnection occurs later and bancho is unable to register the score, it will have to be proven, otherwise, the opponents will get the point.

Mappool format will be as follows:
  1. Qualifiers: 4 No Mod/2 Hidden/2 Hard Rock/3 Double Time.
  2. RO16/QF: 5 No Mod/3 Hidden/3 Hard Rock/3 Double Time/2 Free Mod/1 Tiebreaker.
  3. SF/F/GF: 6 No Mod/3 Hidden/3 Hard Rock/4 Double Time/3 Free Mod/1 Tiebreaker.
