is it bad thoughts in my mind that mapping is much harder than just playing??? or i am right?
if you try to learn mapping, you create a ton of maps tv size maps and none of them are ranked or even classified.
remembering that you have to learn on your own how to use the mapping forums

If you try to make a map a little more complex with streams or tech patterns, you simply make a big dog shit

on other hand, in osu"std you just open the game and become mrekk

Yes mapping is harder than playing because you have to actually think

Learning mapping is harder because you don't have the immediate feedback... in game if you mess up you see a 100, 50 or miss instantly so you can see what you did wrong. In mapping you map for the whole day, have to ask someone feedback on the forums (with no previous knowledge if their feedback is gonna be good or not), and then recieve some generic comment like "yeah it looks like a beginner map, I cannot fix all the mistakes... watch pishifat videos (again) and abandon this map".
It's like playing a map with a skin that has no judgements, no accuracy and you can only see hours later how you did, that would stunt improvement as well.

In my opinion what I would need to learn mapping is just have someone sitting behind me who points out all the mistakes in real time as I make them and that's not really feasable... maybe if I streamed lol

I know that there is a shortcut to see what's wrong with your map in the editor but I forgot the keys

if u think about it everything's hard

anyways mapping is more of a creative thing while playing is skill and can be measured by a number (and is measured by numbers!) so you cant really compare them imo
