I just finished my first beatmap, and tried to upload, it took me to the page, but the file couldnt be found, i restarted osu and i got this message (and a cool broken vase pic!)

System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.
at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal)
at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info)
at osu.Gameplay_Elements.BeatmapManager.ProcessHeaders(Beatmap b)
at osu.Gameplay_Elements.BeatmapManager.ProcessFolder(String folder, TreeLevel parent)
at osu.Gameplay_Elements.BeatmapManager.ProcessBeatmaps()
at osu.GameBase.Initialize()
at Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Game.Run()
at osu.Program.Main()

any help would.....help.

I'm probably going to be more grief (read: to the staff) than assistance but it's probably due to the @ in your username. I have faith that peppy can set you straight, though.

though I thought the issue was addressed, perhaps not for every scenario

maybe, but i reinstalled and it still wont even attempt to start, just the error popup....

Have you tried removing that beatmap from your Songs folder? Looks like BeatmapManager, which is being called at Initialization is throwing the error when trying to parse something, so I'd suspect something in the Songs folder.

ok osu has started!
now for the uploading, firstly i get an upload error message, and click retry, and it says uploading, should i then click submit whilst it's still uploading?
awp
Submit will be grayed out while the beatmap is uploading, and should become enabled once it's done uploading. A status message should also be visible saying "File uploaded! Ready to submit!" or something along those lines.

So, yes, click button.

Will look into this tonight.

I think this is the same error as this guy's thread.

Ah, this is a problem with localisation and number formatting. I'll fix it in the next build (ETA Friday)
