Hello, I wanted to know how the modus EZ is viewed in the community?

Is it generally considered for beginners?

which star rating is good for beginners?

which star rating is your opinion “good” with ez?

Does a star rating say anything?

I worked with Google Transleter because my English is really not that good, so I apologize if it's not understandable

EZ is generally considered as an unusual playstyle, but yes, there are some ez main players.

Like other mods, there are maps with EZ that beginners can play but there are some super hard EZ maps. You need a lot of practice to master this mod.

For beginners, just play maps you feel comfortable and don't care about star rating too much. For ctb specific maps, I recommend to start from cup/salad and easier platter diffs.

On platter or rain diff, EZ sometimes boosts star rating a lot by creating some edge jumps, so some consider them as “farm maps”. However, if you are an EZ main, it will become super hard to gain more pp at a certain stage (6000-8000pp for most players). It's better to improve various skill set and do not care star rating too much.

if wanna know about the popularity of ez mod combos, the sequence is like this:

ezdt(fl if farm)>ez(fl if farm)>>>ezht(fl)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ezhd(none/ht/dt)>>>>>ezhd(none/ht/dt)fl

Ezdt is by far the most common mod combo you would see active players use. Anyone using ezhd and below is basically non-existent.

Ez mod star rating is highly inflated by edge dashes(jumps using the edge of your platter). Since the only difficulty you would likely play is platters where patterns arent complex, high sr just means there are lot of edges.
