When will Lazer be the standard?

There's a kind of divide in the state of the site right now. You can access any user's stable achievements through the standard site https://osu.ppy.sh/. It's no issue if the user is only playing on the stable version of the game. However, if an account is created that has only made progress on the Lazer release, none of that information will be viewable through the main site. One must go to https://lazer.ppy.sh/, and even then we're greeted with a blue bar which states that the lazer site is using experimental scores.

My question is simple:

When will Lazer be the standard

Or, when will the Lazer scores be adopted onto the standard site. Given the state of the game, Lazer (at least according to players) is already more than acceptable to switch to as a primary. Especially Mac players like myself, who's only option is to play lazer. There's been many a time where I've looked at my account on the main site and not see any progress. I would like to know when Lazer players will be able to earn medals, and have their scores & achievements available to the rest of the site.

Of course, I'm not a developer. There's definitely more behind-the-scenes stuff going on than I, and many others, don't see. That's why I'm putting this here. Maybe if it's convenient, the devs can keep this thread updated with progress towards switching to Lazer as the primary. Come on, it's been about 6 years :)

Yeah, they're definitely different. But if Lazer is going to continue to be marketed as "The next major update to osu!", shouldn't standard be deprecated at some point? If they're going to keep growing separately indefinitely, they should be marketed as such.

I propose a switch (once plausible according to devs and appropriate staff) to make Lazer's scores the standard, and maybe push the current osu! standard scores to a domain such as "standard.ppy.sh", so users can continue to grow with Lazer as the primary.

Maybe this is already the plan, and if it is, that's great. I just haven't seen any sort of news as to the progress of this switch, hence the purpose of this thread.

UPDATE:

I've found this part of GitHub (Should have looked here first) that has the roadmap for ranked play in Lazer.
https://github.com/orgs/ppy/projects/13

Here we can see that there are a few things that need to be done for Lazer to be integrated into the leaderboards.

Namely this issue which states problems/concerns listing Lazer and Stable scores on the leaderboard.
https://github.com/ppy/osu/issues/18878

And this issue, which talks about a new medal system:
https://github.com/ppy/osu/issues/18880

So in summary, there's still a bit that needs to be done before Lazer can be the standard, and we can track it on GitHub.

Their focus right now is ranked plays in lazer by the end of this year, then you should be able to play in stable or lazer and have your scores tracked properly

"end of the year" is their stated goal for getting permanent scoring online, at which point you should be able to use osu.ppy.sh for lazer scores as well, but I think full support for all stats and medals and stuff will still be WIP and I would expect some weird edge cases in general

So far there's nothing that says that Lazer will be the next standard soon; I'm personally just following the news on the official osu! channel managed by peppy
