Sequence - An experimental game which uses osu beatmaps

Description
This project has been created together with a couple of students at the University. We've developed this game called `Sequence`. It's an experimental game in which we're trying to enhance the user's rythm-based experience using infra-red sensors. You can take a look at this short 1-minute demo on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUB7sgCDSmY

We used a Wii-Mote to detect infra-red signals and used this data to determine the user's current position. The user is encouraged to move to the right notes/blocks at the right time. The main idea behind the game is that the user points at the screen where he wants the cursor to be.

Additional information:
The user wears two gloves equipped with infra-red lights, Using the both hands, the user is able to control two points on the screen. The user should move their arms accordingly to the rythm of the music. The game is also mouse-compatible (using only one circle-marker - Downloadlink can be found below).

Goal:
The goal of this project was to create a rythm-based user experience by letting the user 'feel the music'. Using the (in-game) editor, it was possible to create levels (beatmaps, as we call them) where users have to move their arms around heavily, slowly, jump around or even cross their arms if needed!

The newest version of the game has the following features:
+ Billboarding
+ Editor
+ Infra-red tracking system using the Wii-mote
+ Mouse-Support
+ Particles
+ Support for external beatmaps (osu!)

Links:
A youtube gameplay demo link for a very early alpha version can be found here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUB7sgCDSmY
**Note: The downloadable version can be played with the mouse!!

The downloadlink for the mouse-compatible version can be found here:

Note: Click-once to play the song. Doubleclick to confirm and load the level.

Install guide:
Go to the Installation Files folder and run both setups. You should be able to open and play Sequence.exe.

This project is created with no commercial interest or purpose. It is solely intended as demo for educational purposes only.

The setup fails for me because of a hash validation error with settings.txt

Didn't look at the video yet or anything, but you might want to reconsider the name since there already is a rhythm game named Sequence out there (you can find it on Steam, it's a DDR RPG and absolutely hilarious)

Same error here. One-click setups are really bad for all but the most tech-illiterate end users because you're at the complete mercy of the publisher.

Not working on 8.1 at least
