I know hidden doesn't actually give you any advantage score-wise and isn't necessarily difficult but playing with it all day and then turning it off honestly is probably the closest i'll ever feel to Goku taking his 1,000 ton weights off to fight someone.

I feel you. If I turned on HD, I feel like the OD turns into 11 and you can't see shit
other modes give pp bonus when you play with HD but it doesn't work in mania.. why tho? it takes some skill (memorization, and timing) to be able to play it with HD
It dosen't give bonus pp mostly cause its more of an visual aid for most players. E.g. ERA Urrk plays hidden cause he otherwise cant play / read most patterns, PotassiumF the same with Flash light. Then there are also the players that have it integrated into their skin, yz1155 has hidden integrated while I play with a permanent fade-in effect. It helps some cause there are less notes on the screen at a time if that makes sense.
