Problem details: I thought the other renderer was going to make the game faster, so I switched the renderer to OpenGL. Now I can't open osu! anymore. Is there any way to have osu! switch back to Metal renderer, even if I can't open osu?

Video or screenshot showing the problem: (Idk how to make a link of the video.)

osu! version: osu! Lazer (Intel, I'm on MacOS Catalina)

The renderer setting is stored on a file called framework.ini, but i don't know where osu!lazer is installed on Mac OS

You can set it on automatic like this:

Renderer = Automatic

What would that file do with changing the renderer to Automatic, I ask?

It selects the best render for your OS, it's the default option when you install lazer

I tried reinstalling it, but it just wouldn't change to automatic renderer, which I assume it is still in OpenGL, since I changed the renderer to that. I cannot open osu! too, so I would need to change the renderer without opening osu.

If I would need to change it back to the automatic renderer, even without opening osu! Lazer, how would I do this step by step?

Also: I found a problem on GitHub for osu! that is way similar to my problem.
GitHub problem: osu!lazer not opening on OSX after changing rendering settings

"After changing from metal to OpenGL, the game won't open even after re-installing or restarting my computer, deleting framework.ini etc"

I used a MacBook for this during the time, and you might use Windows, so it may be different. Plus, I used osu!lazer during the time.

thee are two osu folders, one in roaming and one in local. Framework.ini can be found in the osu folder which is in roaming
