I mean I would not say tablets are a scam. (Unless you just didn't get it at all)
If you did receive your tablet and tested it out, that's on you. I am going to assume that you just did not like how it felt or had problems with software.

Wacom is great, I don't know what happened with you but my experience with them was perfect.
