Problem details:
Using auto-mod on a map after not loading into spectator mode of someone playing the same map, results in a loud 'jumpscare'.
This happened to me when I started spectating Lifeline playing an unranked beatmap. I downloaded it through osu!direct, and was waiting for me to enter spectator mode. This, however took too long so I decided to just watch the map with auto mod. When I entered the map, it suddenly jumped all the way nearly to the end, with all the note sounds going off at barely a second. After that it played the rest of the map normally.
Im guessing it jumped all the way to the part where Lifeline was playing it at that current time? (unsure)
But either way, I got jumpscared.
