[Archived] I can't play with my friend (I'm on a Mac he's on pc)

Problem details:
My friend got a pc and I got a Mac but we didn't think it was a problem to play together at osu mania. It is the problem ? or does the problem come from something else ?

osu! version: Mania but it's the same in every other version

If you installed osu!(lazer) and they installed osu! stable, then you won't be able to play together. The easiest solution is probably to have your friend download osu!(lazer) from home/download.

You can technically download stable on a mac, but it's a tiny bit more finnicky. If you want to try it out, here is a forum post you can use: community/forums/topics/1106057?n=1
