GB Cup (GBC) is a 3v3 team draft osu!mania tournament for 4K players.
The 2023 Autumn season is the 4th tournament of the GBC series.
This tournament is a 4K osu!mania tournament, played with ScoreV2. There will be qualifiers, play-offs and elimination stages in this tournament.
The tournament is organized on QQ and Discord. Chinese players use QQ, while foreigners use Discord. Players may play together or separated as follow:
- All players will go through Qualifiers stage regardless of the social platform used.
- The drafting and play-off stages will be organized separatedly for Chinese players and foreigners.
- After 16 teams have been assembled, they will play together in elimination stages.
To play in the tournament, you must follow these rules:
1. You must have joined the GBC discord server or GBC QQ group.
2. You have completed and submitted the Registration Form.
3. You have not violated the community guidelines for the past 12 months.
There is no skill limit of registrants. If there are too many players, stronger players will be persuaded to play showmatches instead of main stage matches.
There are no location limits, but we mainly recommend Asian players to sign up. For all the players, you need to ensure that you could play in Sat & Sun 7pm-10pm UTC+8, or you may not be picked in drafting phase.
Qualifier has 8 maps. Players play at the same time will play in the same room. There are many times to choose from!
Regular stage is a 4-round Swiss phase. Win x 3 = advance, lose x 3 = eliminate. The final seeding will be decided on multiple factors. There will be a total of 16 teams advance into eliminate stage, 8 teams in winners bracket and others in losers bracket. The number of advancing teams in QQ/Discord depends on the ratio of player passing qualifiers in each of the two platforms.
Elimination phase is double elimination.

1. This tournament use drafting rules to build teams. Each team has 5 players, selected by the captain one by one, through 4 cycles.
2. The qualifier result will be shown before the drafting phase.
3. The selection of captain is determined by tournament hosts. They will refer to the Qualifers ranking and the players' need for the captain spot.
4. The order of drafting depends on the ranking of the captain in Qualifiers. Every captain could select 1 player in each cycle. To avoid imbalance in skill between teams, the order will be reversed after each round.
5. Each player could only join 1 team.
6. To ensure captains have more choices to pick from, the amount of players who'll pass Qualifiers will be more than needed.
7. After drafting phase, captain could give the captain position to their teammates.

1. There will be no warmups in-lobby.
2. Before the match starts, the captains will roll. The winner could select to pick first or ban first. First pick means first protect. Both teams can have a chance to protect a map and ban a map.
3. Each team has 2 minutes to protect/ban/pick a map. If a team takes too long, they lose their chance to do it. If picking takes too long, a random map will be selected. After picking, teams have 2 minutes to get ready for the match.
4. After a map is picked, each team could ban a player from the opponent team for that map. A player can only be banned once throughout the whole match. The team who picks the map need to provide their banning choice immediately, else they lose the chance to do it.
5. Players can use MR, HD, FI, FL and NF in match.
6. TB cannot be banned, and no players can be banned in this map.
7. Every players could only request abort once per match at the first 30 seconds or 1/4 of the map (whatever comes first). Please fix every potential issues before the map is restarted.
8. Referee have the rights to apply rules accordingly.
