[Archived] Converting area to new resolution

Hi!, today i bought a 1920x1080 25" monitor. I was playing on an 18.5" 1336x768 one with a relatively average area (76x42.72), i decided to try osu after setting it up and my area felt incredibly off, i've made sure everything on the drivers (OTD) is correct (making sure display is set to 1920x1080, that kinda stuff). I'm pretty sure i can get something really similar to it with trial and error but isn't there just some type of wacky math i can do to figure it out quicker?

I dont know some wonky math to do it, I'd gander you would divide the previous resolution by tablet area, then do the same for the new resolution and see the difference. Apply the difference to the old area to get a new area that is in the same aspect(?)

Otherwise you can go into the settings of osu! and change the resolution to the old resolution and it will work the same way, i believe.
