Pen mode or Mouse Mode?

I've been using mouse mode till my friend told me to use pen mode because everyone uses pen mode on the tablet. I tried using pen mode today and it felt really weird its as if my left and right where faster than my up and down, although my spin per minute was faster it was about over 460 if i tried.
This is my setting for my tablet

I've been using mouse mode since i got my tablet was I doing it wrong the whole time?

Using mouse mode defeats the point of having a tablet, use pen mode. Check force proportions to fix that X/Y axis sensitivity problem.

Also you have a windows ink check box, I don't know if that is wisptis.exe but if it is, uncheck it. wisptis.exe is annoying, it makes your cursor bounce around if you tap your pen on the tablet.

OMG i am a noob i had a tablet for a month but been using mouse mode and now I figure out how to use it for real. lol
