[Archived] sudden black screen while gaming

Problem details:
so while on game OSU suddenly goes on full blackscreen. even if i altab and diusable it doesn't work. if you leave the game alone for several weeks it works just fine. however, if you play it again the next day ig goes back to the automatic blackscreen.

Do you have any pending OS updates or graphic driver updates? If so, please install those.

Have you recently changed skins? Does this happen when using the default?

Also, make sure that you aren't using compatibility mode if you dont need to be. (You can access this setting in-game in the settings or you can access it by holding shift when trying to launch osu!, once you do that it will bring up a little window where you can disable compatibility mode, or enable it if its disabled.
