[Archived] I cant get Osu on linux

been playing Osu on windows but switched recently so i've been having issues with the downloading process

I've been having issues with downloading Osu on linux as of recently and have no clue as to how i could avoid any of this confusion. It's not clear in the site if osu! version: Stable 20230628.2 is available on linux (since there is no option for installment other than the ones used in the Mac OS and windows) though lazer clearly has a "download for linux" button. If someone could provide a link with a Download link or even a tutorial.

osu! lazer is available on linux as you pointed out.

osu! stable does not run natively on linux but can be run through Wine. There are several guides on the forums and Google that cover setting everything up for multiple different distros. Here are two that were at the top of the Development forum though:
