I've been insanely busy this week so I haven't had much of a chance to mod or beatmap, but I managed to cook this much up in the little free time I had. Rolled and others in the IRC channel probably already know that I was planning to map this song. Since deciding to do it I've also decided to make four difficulties, something I've never done before.
I've never attempted an easy mode before because I will only make a beatmap if it's fun to play - I didn't think easy mode versions of my other songs would be. I've also never attempted an insane mode simply because the task seemed too daunting.
With Das Omen, however, I'm confident that I can create four unique and entertaining difficulties that will each be their own enjoyable experience. I've started with Easy. It's only 30% done right now, but you can get a feel for what I'm trying to do. I'm already planning out Normal and Hard in my head.
