I listen to a bit of a mix myself, but I would say I listen to metal the most maybe.

yep, could be the most beautiful piece of classical music, to the most posh celtic punk song ever. A pretty piece played by a cultural instrument, to a touhou doujin song based around Irish instrumentals. Its a whole valley of everything. recently taking a liking to japanese punk/hardcore. kinda the goldilock of jrock; not to pop, not to heavy, just right.
though not very popular (apart from maybe ELLEGARDEN, 10-FEET, and some others), the scene is great and is very large and active.

Hmm i rather like electronic music like camellia. Ambient is also my favorite genres
