How can beatmaps be taken to the graveyard? Are there many reasons?

I want to say impossibly hard difficulty, copyright reasons, or just wasn't good enough.

And please redirect me to a fourm if this has been asked or if I'm posting in the wrong fourm topic.

That's just where they go if they haven't been updated in a while.

Pretty much this ^

It goes directly in the graveyard if the map hasn't been updated in 4 weeks.

Also if someone posts in the thread of your beatmap it resets the counter as well I think

Nah i think it just goes to the graveyard without updating for 4 weeks. i had a beatmap that went to graveyard even though someone posted 3 days before
