Hey everyone! I thought I should finally introduce myself since I've been posting on and off for a little bit.
I'm 23 and from the UK. I don't get to play as much osu as I would like these days because I'm both at college and working at the same time, and also have other hobbies and stuff to do as well. I've been playing osu for about 2 years now. At first I was like most and pretty farm/rank obsessed but now I think I take more of a relaxed approach. I still want to get better, but I don't care about my rank too much. I mostly like to play interesting and creative maps, find cool songs and trying to push obscure skillsets while having a healthy dose of self-competition.
I'd probably call myself a reading player. I'm not very good at it but I think it is my strongest skillset, perhaps followed by streaming. My favourite kinds of maps are one's with low AR or high CS (or maybe both for extra mindfuck). I'm still not as good as I would like with precision though. Currently playing lots of old AR7 maps with Hidden or CS 5/6 maps with HDHR.
Anyway, I think it would be cool to make some friends in the osu community. Outside of the posts I've made here, I've never really interacted with the osu community at large. It'd be super fun to play multi's with some cool people or something. Maybe it would motivate me to improve more at aim and consistency idk 😅 if anyone wants to play osu together then feel free to dm for mutuals
