[Archived] Local Star Rating Being Useless

Hi, i'm a new osu player, mainly playing taiko, and after a week of playing I finally noticed that PP are based on star rating and not on local star rating, meaning that, as a player, seeing local star rating is useless to me

I desperately need to get rid of it, it's ruining my motivation, i don't want to play maps that were worth a lot a few years ago but that no longer give a lot of PP.

I know that local star rating is important and cannot be removed, but keep in mind that i only want a way to hide it

Unfortunately there is no way to get rid of stats like that since they are essential. Best I can say is to not look at it or dont be discouraged about a number that can change an infinite amount of times.

I actually found a way to get rid of it, i just put some black scotch tape on top of it. It's dumb but effective, thanks you nontheless
