Have metadata questions for modding or ranking a beatmap?
To aid with metadata queries and concerns this thread was created by prolific metadata experts from the osu! community. We cannot guarantee we will be correct 100% of the time (though we do try!) so be sure to always check the Metadata section of the Ranking Criteria. Please keep posts short and to the point, and link the relevant beatmap or .osz in your reply! For longer queries or further discussion, please direct traffic to the Beatmap's Discussion Page.

What can I post here?
You can ask about anything related to metadata and audio. Unsure what that means? For a basic understanding, look to the General tab of the Song Setup panel! If you are confused, you can question us about anything here (except Beatmap Creator of course!):
