basically i can play dt maps up to high 5*s/some very low 6*s and fc them after a couple of attempts and can do the jumps in them with relative ease
but when i go back to no mod and try do a 4/5* map i cant hit the jumps for the life of me and when i go back to see what i did i am hovering over the circle pretty much 99% of the time and missing but also feel as if im actually pressing at the right time

idk how much help this gives on my issue but any help is great <33

Maybe try practicing on lower ARs (approach rate).
You are most likely playing ar 10-11 most of time, but once you turn off DT, you are most likely playing ar 9 maps.
You probably got too used to the higher ar.

Maybe you have trouble reading lower SR?

No problem. Had the same issue with a different AR range, so I just put on the EZ mod to test my patience. Didn't really do any negative to skill if you decide to do that as well. But EZ mod will really put your AR down by a lot, so I would still stick to the AR 9 training.

And I wouldn't say you're bad, but rather just became inconsistent with AR 9, 8, 7, etc. You'll be fine after a bit of practice
