you right
Im having a problem where I can alternate up to 230bpm jumps but after a while, I can feel my stamina drain then if I try to tap the same for 240+ my fingers either can't keep up or my muscle cramps. Is there a point where it's almost like streaming where its a lot less force or is it just alternating regular jumps just a lot faster?

yea you're going to want to be more relaxed and use less movement as the bpm gets higher.

But for me as someone whos always played full alt, fast jumps are still pretty different from slower streams. I'm still using my arm and wrist a bit to help tap instead of completely relaxing like streaming, but not nearly as much as I would for slower jumps. I also use the 1/2 beats to stay in time, so I "feel" every jump, but only really pay attention to the finger that starts the 1/4.

It probably shouldn't feel very different at all from 1/4 in a song at half that bpm you're having trouble with, but slower than like 140bpm it stops feeling like streaming to me and less than 165 I'm counting all the 1/4 beats to stay in time anyway. Its a spectrum of effort.

just a lot faster, only thing I would consider close to streaming is 300bpm jumps, but even then that is pretty much still considered alting

Sometimes! I can already alternate 240-260bpm jumps (thanks to Everything will freeze, IMAGE MATERIAL and Those Who from the Heavens Came) but I'm trying to go even further
