Problem details: I recently got a new pc, and after installing osu! on it, I found that my offset needed to be very far from 0. I settled at -125 ms, which makes the game playable, but makes hitsounds completely out of sync with the gameplay. Are there any ways for me to make my offset closer to 0ms ?

Video or screenshot showing the problem: https://youtu.be/0CRBMFA58JI

osu! version: Cutting Edge 20230613 (also tested on the latest stable version, same results)

edit: fixed by going to windows (11) settings > system > sond > properties of my default output > turning off "audio enhancements"

looking at the video when I slow it down to 0.25x speed there seems to be no delay in the hitsounds compared to the clicks shown on the right side.
if the problem is still there you can try checking if the hitsound file has any delay in it. Make sure it is one of the file extensions listed here as they have zero input latency as written in the second paragraph wiki/en/Guides/Using_custom_hitsounds
