i want to cut out the audio of this from 00:01:940 to 03:38:780

im guessing i would have to cut two copies of the audio file and add them together?

i believe audacity is one of the most common ones, but any type of search on your browser may alleviate any confusion on which program(s) are beginner friendly or not.

I like FL studio because you can adjust the project BPM and then align the waveform with the beat snaps to make sure the song's still properly timed

Audacity is also a great option, however

Audacity is the best software for that

I use REAPER. It works great when dealing with multi-BPM songs.
