Where you see the star rating, there are two different ratings. The regular one and the one referred to as (local rating). What's the difference an why does the game seem to prioritize local rating when sorting songs?

Stable client cant calculate the newer Star rating and just gets it from the website.

Local SR is just the old SR from before the SR rework, maps are sorted with it because looking up every map's SR at once wouldnt be a great idea.

Stable clent isnt really being added to and most work is going towards lazer.

Don't look at the local SR, it's just outdated now

Just be aware that, say, a 3.00* map on the website may not be a 3.00* map when you put it into stable. If you don't like that sorting, then just find another way (by date added, rank achieved, etc.) until you can run Lazer.

The SR in general is not 100% correct. There are still maps that are way too hard than they look and vice versa.

My point was just about the difference between the site and the client. It's one thing to say they're different, and another to start wondering where the hell the map you just d/l'd is because it said 3.01* on the site and you looked at 3.01* and it's not there or something.

Obviously even the new SRs don't always match properly.
